Assistant Coach
Women's Gymnastics
Position
- Assist with coaching a highly competitive women's gymnastics
program which competes in the NCAA Division I WAC Conference
- Recruit Division I quality student-athletes
- Know and abide by NCAA rules and regulations
- Assist with the monitoring of the academic progress of student-athletes
- Assist with team practice and game day coaching responsibilities
- Supervise weight training and the conditioning program
- Work in conjunction with the head coach regarding budget, travel
and scheduling of opponents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree desired
- Experience as a competitor and familiarity with USGF club programs
required
- Ability to recruit Division I level student-athletes and a demonstrated
commitment to their satisfactory academic progress
- Ability to coach Elite/Level 10 skills in all four women's events
as well as spot.
- Competitive or coaching experience required. NCAA competitive
or coaching experience desired.
- Possession of excellent interpersonal and communication skills,
as well as organizational skills
- Ability to interact successfully with a wide and culturally
diverse range of students, and to work harmoniously with students,
colleagues, and the community
Rank & Salary
The rank and classification is a Coaching Assistant. This is a 10-month,
full time position. Salary is competitive and commensurate with
experience and qualifications. The University offers excellent,
