Assistant Coach
Men's Basketball
Position
- Assist with coaching a highly competitive men's basketball program
which competes in the NCAA Division I Big West Conference
- Assist in recruiting Division I quality student-athletes
- Know and abide by NCAA, University & Big West rules and
regulations
- Assist with the monitoring of the academic progress of student-athletes
- Assist with team practice and game day coaching responsibilities
- Scouting and conduct statistical analysis of recruits and opponents
- Responsible for Film Exchange
- Serves as team Travel Coordinator
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred
- Experience coaching/playing at a highly competitive NCAA intercollegiate
program
- Ability to recruit NCAA Division I caliber student-athletes
a demonstrated commitment to their satisfactory academic progress
- Possession of excellent interpersonal and communication skills,
as well as organizational skills
- Ability to interact successfully with a wide and culturally
diverse range of students, and to work harmoniously with students,
colleagues, and the community
Rank & Salary
The rank and classification is a Coaching Assistant. This is a 10-month,
full time position. Salary is competitive and commensurate with
experience and qualifications. The University offers excellent,
