full- and part-time faculty and a diverse student body of approximately

Entertainment & Tourism Studies
Tenure Track
Position
Successful candidate will help develop the on-going tourism program
in the Entertainment Studies Concentration at both the undergraduate
and graduate level. Candidate will be expected to teach, engage
in research and provide academic advisement to students in a new
and rapidly growing Entertainment and Tourism Studies Concentration.
The course load is 4/4. Assignment to one or more courses housed
at the CSUF satellite campus in Irvine is a possible condition of
employment.
Qualifications
- Candidates must have a Ph.D. in a relevant field.
- Teaching experience at the university level is essential and
10+ years are required for appointment at Associate Professor
rank.
- In addition, candidates must possess a superior academic research
record in tourism.
- Must be able to interact effectively with a wide and culturally
diverse range of students and faculty.
Rank & Salary
This is a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate
Professor. Salary is competitive and commensurate to rank, experience
and qualifications. Periodic salary adjustments are enacted by the
state legislature. Additional teaching in summer and intersession
is often available. An excellent comprehensive benefits package
