Marketing - General
Tenure Track
California State University Fullerton (CSUF) Department of Marketing
invites applicants for tenure-track position(s), beginning August
2008.
Position
All candidates with research and teaching backgrounds will be considered,
though preference may be given to candidates with interest and experience
in the following areas:
- Marketing Strategy
- Product and/or service marketing, with an emphasis on the use
of the latest marketing technology, including data mining, data
warehousing, and analysis of panel data to successfully manage
the product
- Management of marketing channels, including an understanding
of supply chain management, logistics and retail management
The Department of Marketing offers a stimulating and collegial
environment with a balanced emphasis on research and teaching. We
encourage and support innovation.
Qualifications
Successful candidates will have:
- A Ph.D. in Marketing from an AACSB accredited university
- University-level teaching experience with evidence of high quality
teaching.
- A strong desire to work with a diverse student body as well
as advise and interact with students.
- A well-defined research agenda for publications in high-quality
journals;
- Relevant industry experience is also highly desired.
Rank and Salary
This is a tenure-track position at the Assistant/Associate Professor
level. Salary is competitive and commensurate to rank, experience

The College and Department
The College of Business and Economics at Cal State Fullerton is
one of the largest business schools in the United States offering
comprehensive undergraduate programs and a selection of MBA programs
for working professionals. The College of Business and Economics
has charted an aggressive growth path for the coming decade. Construction
has started on a new complex for the College. Our faculty has diverse
research interests and has Ph.D.s from some of the best schools
