Audit, Tax, Cost, AIS and Financial
Tenure-Track

Position
The Department of Accounting is seeking tenure-track faculty at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank in the areas of Audit, Tax, Cost, AIS and Financial. The successful candidates will be innovative teachers who are effective communicators and have strong instructional and computer skills. At the same time, all faculty are expected to maintain a rigorous, on-going commitment to research which results in publication in high-quality refereed journals. Student advisement and department, college and university service are also considered to be part of the responsibility of tenure-track faculty. The Department offers AACSB separately accredited programs at the undergraduate and graduate level.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must have an earned doctorate in accounting from an accredited institution.
  • Preference is given to candidates who hold CPA certification and who have professional experience.
  • Must meet AACSB standards for academic or professional qualification and who can be classified as participating faculty.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students is required.

Rank & Salary
These positions are tenure-track positions at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. Salary is competitive and commensurate to rank, experience and qualifications. Existing tenure-track faculty teach between six and twelve credit units per semester, depending on research productivity. Summer school teaching opportunities and summer research stipends (awarded on a competitive basis) are also available.
